When real life starts to resemble the books you write, well…
… Pale Highway fans will understand my amusement.
No, this little guy didn’t start talking to me, and definitely didn’t mention anything about a “Sky Amoeba,” but when I happened upon him in the backyard, I couldn’t help but take notice.
Hope you’re all doing well!
Even though snails and slugs are kind of creepy, they are fascinating to watch. Maybe just the slow pace helps calm the hyper life of city living that makes them so interesting. Hope you’re ready for autumn…I know I am!
Have to love the slow pace, for sure. Yes, definitely ready for those changing leaves!
If they do start talking to you, you can always sell them your book. I wonder what a slug’s perspective on literature would be. I bet the autobiography would be simply stunning.
Haha, very good point. It would definitely be interesting to see what their perspective was on the slugs in Pale Highway.
